RTA Local Tournament (2/9/13 - 2/10/13)

There will be a tournament being held February 9th to the 10th next month. I would like you guys to participate. Feel free to register for the tournament:

This tournament will have a ban list of it's own a long with the real banlist. here it is:
Banned Decks:
Exodia, Burn, OTK, FTK, Decks with infinite loops, & Mill decks.

Prize for this tournament is going to be:

1st Place: 3000 DP
2nd Place: 2000 DP
Top 4: 1000 DP
Top 8 (If there is more than 10 people): 500 DP

Well....YGO Pro can't run on my computer, other then DN, I play a game called Duel Monsters Genesis on Byond which is better then DN, in the fact that, LP, most effects, and atk/def is automatic, You can have 2 v 2, 2 v 1, 1v1v1, 4 way and 3v1 and you can move around, downsides to the game, are, depending on host the game can lag like hell and the cards are hard to deal with sometimes, Ex. You have to click to figure out the effect and right click to get Type/Attribute.

Enough Advertising though, If I can actually play the game, and it has some automatic systems instead of completely manual and offers more then 1 v 1, then I'd play

It goes up to 2 v 2 and 1 v 1

I can't really say for myself until we get closer to next Saturday. I'm still job searching and have no idea what it's in store for me next month with all of the stuff I need to do. We'll see what happens next week.

Yeah I'm kind of in the same situation as Axel. I'll join but I'm not exactly sure what is going on yet.

Come on guys, only 1 more week until the competition. The tournament begins at 9am ET on 2/9/13 and it will last until 11pm the next day

Sadly I'm not going to be able to do this. I haven't been on DN lately to fix up any deck, I've been busy every day with school work, meetings, and keeping up with my girlfriend. Plus, I've got a load of stuff to do this weekend. Especially filling out job apps. Sorry, Obsidian.

So when does the dueling start or what? Also I do have a few other things that I'm doing today so I can't be on 24/7 and tomorrow the power might go out.

It will start today. Here are the matchups:

Round 1: Codknight vs Direct Hit, Chaos Neo vs Entr0py
Round 2: Whoever wins faces off and whoever loses faces off
Round 3: Highest Records faceoff and lowest records face off
Round 4: highest face off and lowest face off
Round 5: same thing
Round 6: same thing
Once the six rounds will be over, I will decide who faces who in the Top 4

Well apparently everyone else forgot or didn't care because I haven't seen anyone on here or DN.

I had family commitment until 10 and when I got back I just kicked back and relaxed

Shoot me if I'm wrong...but isn't there a regionals in almost every state, some people in my anime club went to our closest one a few weeks ago.

Regionals in Ohio are at columbus. Not sure if there are any in Alabama that are actually near to me, other than Atlanta. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Hey quan, yeah, I'm down with an academy meet-up one day. Maybe meet u all in person in one of the regionals or YCS when the time comes.

Well from what I can tell we all live about 10 hours from each other, so we could meet up but it would take a quite a bit of money.

Well it not impossible. If everyone gets an invite we could all meet up at nationals wherever that may be. It could be a once a year gig. Or a chain link road trip but yea money is always involved in anything.

Ohio regs was at wolstein stadium @ Cleveland state university.
